15-Minute Instant Ramen Stir Fry

Instant ramen stir fry is one of the internet's favourite pantry hacks, and for good reason. Ditch the flavour sachet, cook the noodles briefly, then toss them in a hot wok with vegetables, egg and a proper sauce.

The sauce is oyster sauce, soy sauce, a little dark soy for colour and a pinch of sugar. It tastes like lo mein from the takeaway, for a fraction of the price.

Clean out the vegetable drawer: cabbage, carrot, capsicum, broccoli and mushrooms all work.
